Florida Statewide QPI 101 Training

Join us for an engaging and interactive QPI 101 training focused on child-centered, relationship-based principles and practices that promote excellent parenting for children and youth in foster care. Together, we will explore Florida’s leadership in the Quality Parenting Initiative (QPI) and how it has influenced legislative and policy changes that advance normalcy, strengthen relationships, and improve outcomes for children and families.

Drawing on developmental science, the voices of youth with lived experience, and evidence-informed practice approaches, participants will learn how QPI tools—such as Comfort Calls, Icebreaker Meetings, and Planful Transitions—help build trust, preserve important connections, and support children and adolescents through times of change. By the end of this training, you will be equipped with practical strategies to strengthen your advocacy and elevate QPI practices in your agency and community.
