Social Worker Month: Uplift, Defend, Transform

March 19 @ 11:00 am 12:00 pm

In recognition of Social Work Month, this QPI Monthly Webinar explores the 2026 Social Work Month theme—Uplift, Defend, Transform—through a Quality Parenting Initiative (QPI) lens.

Aligned with the NASW Code of Ethics, social workers play a critical role in bringing QPI principles into daily practice. From uplifting children and families through strong, trusting relationships, to defending family connections, to transforming systems to be more child-centered and relationship-based, social workers are essential partners in advancing QPI.

This session will connect each of the Social Work Month themes to QPI’s core principles and highlight how social workers across QPI sites apply those principles in real and meaningful ways.

Participants will:

Develop a clearer understanding of how Uplift, Defend, and Transform align with QPI principles
Gain insight into the role social workers play in successful QPI implementation
Examine examples of child-centered, relationship-based practice across QPI sites that align with the NASW Code of Ethics

This 60-minute webinar is scheduled for Thursday, March 19th, at 2:00 pm Eastern / 1:00 pm Central / 12:00 pm Mountain / 11:00 am Pacific.
