QPI Webinar – Relationships, Connection & Belonging: A Conversation About Kinship Care

In recognition of National Kinship Care Month, join us for a conversation about what it takes to support kinship families—from changing systems and practices to ensuring caregivers have what they need for the everyday work of parenting.

We’ll hear directly from kinship caregivers and young people about their experiences, the strengths and connections kinship families bring, the challenges they navigate, and what meaningful support looks like in everyday life. We’ll also hear how QPI sites are advancing innovative approaches to identifying kin, licensing and approval, and kin-first placement.

Together, we’ll explore how child welfare systems can build on the strengths of kinship families and ensure caregivers have what they need to provide excellent parenting, while preserving the relationships, stability, connection, and sense of belonging children and young people need to thrive.
