Family Initiative: At the Intersection of
Compassion and Innovation

Join us this month to learn about Family Initiative and their Family Impact Program!

Beginning in 2019 in Southwest Florida with the Family Impact Program, Family Initiative draws upon the Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) model to support families in building resiliency and trust for the children in their care. Their TBRI practitioners offer both educational opportunities and in-home services to support caregivers in their parenting approach by creating a holistic environment that supports children, allowing them to thrive. Family Initiative proudly offers this program in partnership with the Safe Children’s Coalition in Sarasota, Manatee, and Desoto counties, Citrus Family Care Network in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, and Family Success Services in Pasco and Pinellas counties.

As a part of this presentation, Citrus Family Care Network will share how this partnership works on the ground to ensure excellent parenting for every child, every day.

Participants will:

• Gain knowledge of the Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) model.
• Learn strategies for effective community partnerships.
